OK, Ive got a bit of a dilemma [plz see details]?
I'd say go out with him as friends and see where it goes. He could turn out to be a really good friend, you wouldn't want to ruin that by moving too fast.
Reply:First, get to know each other in person (not just the fibs we tell each other on-line) before getting serious. Then, just because you hang out together sometimes doesn't broadcast to the whole school that you're both gay, or that either of you is. Guys who hang out together are usually just buds, you know, not automatically gay lovers, although the age and grade difference is sure to turn some heads. Try to find an interest you two have in common (besides sex) as a reason for being together.
I hope it works out for you. If not, I'm pretty sure you are NOT the only other closeted gay teenager in your new school.
Reply:My best relationship, we were friends first, then lovers. Too bad he got a job in another state and i couldn't move at the time. Whats wrong with being friends. My best friend in Elementary, Jr high and high school was my f*ck buddy. We kept it quiet, but met up on weekends and all summer long when our parents were at work.
I say be friends. Do what you can do with out being to suspicious. If you both want more discuss it. I wouldn't pass notes in class, or meet him under then bleachers at lunch time, but maybe something after school. Have him tutor you in sex ed, or math.
There is a lot of ways you two could be together if you both know the score and try to keep it hidden.
Reply:You could both get cool belts and be emo. Then take pictures together, it makes it a little less obvious. Seriously - I've seen girls see emo guys kiss then think they're just being cute/emo and run off with them, lol.
Reply:Two things 1 just go slow be his friend first. 2 You ARE NOT the only gay guys at school. I thought I was the only gay guy at school and long after I graduated I am finding out there were lots of us.
Good Luck
Reply:Be careful, don't scare him because it could turn out bad in so many ways he could totally flip out accuse you of stuff on the other hand it could be so awesome whatever you do be carefull and remember NO GLOVE NO LOVE
Reply:If he asks you out, for go it. It could be a fantastic relationship and yes, in your situation it could be really hard, especially if you're both in the closet. On top of that, you're both still in school and there's the problem of having other students at school know.
Still, it could be love, and if you've got love, you'll be fine. Ask him out!
