Another Poem (and it has a title!)?

Endless Summer

One year summer came on by

And tricked the little hearts,

Because ‘fore long it ran away,

And let the school year start.

So all the children decided they’d

Come trick some on their own.

And came to ambush all the sunlight,

When it came along.

They bottled all the fresh, sweet air,

And locked up all the sea.

They trapped all the carefree memories,

So all the world could see.

They laughed and yelled and danced around,

They’d captured the freedom they’d sought.

They all enjoyed the endless peace,

All the worriless thoughts.

And it wasn’t till they all grew old,

Did time really show

And all the things they’d missed before,

The things they used to know.

The winter that used to sprinkle down,

The blanket of white from above.

Or the sprouting grass and chirping birds,

The spring’s treasured love.

Even autumn’s changing ways,

Painting the leaves all bright.

The cool breeze that slipped through the world,

The stars on a chilly night.

Reply:A unique vision. We need to live in this world. Without pain, pleasure has nothing to be compared with. Remember the old saying, "it's not nice to fool with Mother Nature." You've expressed this in a creative and excellent way.
