Is it possible to get a girl to like you?

So basically i asked this girl to winter formal. In first period, i got someone to handher a note with a scavenger hunt on it and she did it, finding my name at then end.





Then at lunch she came up to me





and i was like......so whats it gonna be.......





then she was like.......well i dont know you well enough yet with a sweet tone of voice....then 5 sconds of silence...and then she repeatedly asked me are "upset" (that she said no)...and i was like no of course not...and i gave her a thumbs up ...and we went to class......





now like 4 months later


the truth hurts that i was "upset" inside, and i wanna try to start talking to her again...how can i do this?


(btw....she's asian and i'm punjabi)

First of all, good on you for asking her to the dance. That takes guts. And good on you for sticking with it and being willing to try it again.





Sounds like she wants to get to know you, so try talking to her. Sit next to her at lunch or in the library. Ask if you can drive her and her friends home after school (or whatever is appropriate). Just try and find ways to spend time with her so she can see you're a decent guy. Talk to her about classes you share, ask her what she likes to do outside of school. Is she interested in the movies? Mall? Whatever.





Just try and make conversation and ask her about herself, and listen. It's very flattering when someone shows an interest in what you say.
