How do u know if ur a pretty boi or not???

im 19, male...and i dunno if imma pretty boi or not. when i think of pretty boi, i think of metrosxual...is that true? ok, me...i spend 15mins daily in the shower, and 15mins getting ready in the bathroom. i gotta line-up, and i wear sweet smelling deodorant. i also brush my teeth every morning. when my nails get too ugly/long, i trim them and file them...but they dont look professional tho, i dont think. occasionally i apply chapstick...usually in the winter though. i have this problem wear my clothes HAVE to match before i walk outside that door. i make sure my hair is soft and shiny...but no gel. i gotta ashy skin problem, so i wear lotion. i got the green-tea n vanilla smelling lotion. i wear my clothes kinda baggy, a NY hat, and sometimes i wear these small, square shape sunglasses. i also gotta habit of whenever i pass a mirror or anyplace i see my reflection, im always makin sure i still look "good". i also got this white hoody with green $$$ bags all over and rhinestone $ on it

its nice to see a guy who takes pride in his appearance. you're not gay because you take care of your body and want to have nice skin. bad nails on a guy are actually a big turnoff for me. as for as your clothes, it seems like your style is more "balla". not for me but some girls like it. gay guys don't dress like that. so no worries, i wouldn't perceive you as gay or metro.

Spending 15 min in the shower or getting ready is not too long. There is nothing wrong with caring how you are dressed. Now if it becomes an obsession, then you aren't being a "pretty boy," you're being self absorbed and verging on narcissistic. Don't worry about it right now. Nineteen is the time most guys are coming out of puberty and finding out who they are and being a little insecure is OK. Just be confident of who you are and if you aren't confident, do what I was told to do by a boss one time, "Fake it until you make it." Self confidence, not arrogance, is attractive in men and women.
Reply:You just like to take good care of yourself. Most of the things you do are nothing special. I put on clear nail polish after trimming my nails. Besides you're supposed to brush your teeth every morning!
Reply:I think what you need to ask is are you secure in your manhood? You sound pretty professional to me. I've heard tales of a time when such grooming techniques were ordinary and in fact respected. Labels aren't as important as respect and self confidence. It doesn't matter if your male or female, gay or straight, trans gender or cross dresser. Even homophobes should care what they look like because this shows that you value your self worth and identity. Be proud of who you are!

Reply:Okay, You sound like a well kept guy. Not a 'pretty boy'. You actually sound like my boyfriend. He likes to shower (3 times a day is the average) ,brushes his teeth whenever, and 1 time asked me to buff his nails. You are just a kind of guy who actually CARES for his apperance. You're not like those guys who just roll outta bed and through something on that makes them look like some weirdo. I hoped that helped.
