I have a bad eating disorder.?

It started when i was 11. I have been surounded by bad body comments from my mom's side of the family, my entire life. My grandma says stuff like: How much do you weigh? or u need to loose weight on your face. She has already turned my sweet cousin into a body freak (who also makes comments on my body). With my family and other problems i've had with other people, it has all turned on me. I lost 11 pounds in on week this summer. I get a lot of comments on how skinny i am. I gained Weight over the winter and now i think i'm fat. At the most i have 300 calories a day, and i've been stealing my dad"s Diet pills. What do u think?

I have a bad eating disorder.?
Go get one of your parents, right this instant.

Take them by the hand and say "come with me, please."

Drag them to the computer.

Make them read this, and tell them you wrote it.

This is far too important and dangerous for anyone on Yahoo to advise you to do anything else. Go. Get a parent. Now.
Reply:that is very bad you should talk to your family or you should just know that what people think isnt important its what you really think about yourself but if you really think that youre fat then you should just eat healthy foods and dont use diet pills because they are realy unhealthy because they only make you loose 72% body fat and then you loose 28% musscle and good things in your body like calcium.
Reply:You shouldn't be only eating 300 calories a day. Either start eating 2,000 calories (normal calories a day) or get some help! DO NOT USE YOUR DADS DIET PILLS. Thats one way to get yourself into trouble. You should eat healthy and excersise daily. Please PLEASE feel free to email me. I am 13, maybe around you age. Just please email me. -krissayyx3@hotmail.com
Reply:Ok Your KILLINg yourself if you keep going on like this you'll die from starvation and malnutrition sorry to say this but dont listen to a word your family is saying unless they want you to get sick from your disorder satrt eating healthy and MUCH more than 300 calories a day it only matters with what you think of your body and if you still think your fat when in realtiy your really skinny go see a specialist

Reply:DONT LISTEN TO YOUR MOMS SIDE!!!! they are just being really mean. you really have to stop not eating and taking dieting pills. If you lost 11 pounds in one week then your probablly way to skinny!!!! you should start eating normal again right away, it will feel so much better not being hungry all the time. You should tell someone you trust, and tell your mom that those comments are offensive. You can feel free to IM or Email me any time. Please listen to this advice and stop eating those pills and tell someone!!!!

Reply:See Your Doctor
Reply:First of all, 300 calories a day is only going to make you sick. I assume you attend a school. My suggestion would be to see your counselor or the nurse and get some direction. A little nutritional info would help, basic calorie intake requirements, etc. And have a health care professional (like the nurse) help you figure out what your weight should be based on your body type and age. I know the published guidelines are not always accurate but it will give you an idea where you should fit in. And finally, if you are healthy, have plenty of energy, and are comfortable with your appearance then that should be good enough for grandma. There are all sorts of factors that can't be covered here but essentially what's right for you is all that really matters. I think you just could use a little help from a third party to figure out what is right for you.

Oh, leave Dad's pills alone please.

I've been on sort of a crash diet myself lately because I was just tired of the way I looked and felt. But I wouldn't necessarily recommend that for everybody. Several have told me that I've lost too much weight but I'm still above my recommended weight according to the chart. I will tell you that I felt very good about myself after loosing 26 lbs. until others started telling me I looked too thin, etc. It's weird how much importance we put on the opinions of others. Even when those opinions are unsolicited. One person told me I looked like I had lost my spirit. What does that mean?

Bottom line... make it about you as long as you are healthy and strong. Grandma could probably stand to lose a few pounds herself :-)
Reply:I couldn't care less.
Reply:if your parents won't help you (they seem to be most of the problem) go to someone at school, teacher or guidance counselor, and GET HELP!!! you're too precious to die for this.
Reply:You need to see a doctor NOW. Between the lack of calories and the diet pills, you are putting yourself at risk for a heart attck. Go see y,our physician, and a therapist. I don't know how old you are, but I am guessing it is too young to be on your own. You need to get help before you end up killing yourself. At some point you are also going to need to confront your family. I had a friend who had the same problem, she was about 5'2" and 100 pounds (lifelong dancer) and thin as a rail, yet she thought she was fat. Her grandmother did the same thing to her, and she felt so much better once she got some help but. I feel for you. Please go get help.

Honey you need help. I just read your other question. PLEASE get some help

People who "self-injure" are not usually suicidal. They do however, intentionally inflict injuries upon themselves, usually in response to stress or trauma. Their injuries may vary from minor cuts that heal quickly to very serious wounds that leave permanent scars. This is also known as "Deliberate Self-Harm Syndrome".

If you or someone you know self-injures, please get professional help right away. This is just an overview of a very complex myriad of syndromes.

Cutting seems to be the most common type of self-injury. "Cutters" often use razors, utility knives, scissors, needles, broken glass, or whatever they find to make repetitive slices on their arms, legs or other body parts. Some people burn themselves with cigarettes or lighters, others pull out their own hair. Many people who self-injure say they do it because they normally feel "numb" and cutting helps them to "feel alive." Others talk about the "sense of control" they may get from self-injury. This may be the first time or thing that they have felt a sense of control in their lives. Most agree that incidents of self-injury are triggered by stress and anxiety.

Reply:You need to have at least 2000 calories a day. Exercize. Eat. You will be skinny and healthy.
Reply:stop steling your dads pills and get your own
Reply:Girl, plz be more aware of yourself and your body. Understand that it can only function well with good nutrition and fitness. I'm 16, and I've tried so many diets, pills and teas. And right now, I've found out that my one goal in life is to be happy and healthy. If only I figured that out one or two years ago!

Plz take at least 1200 cals each day. You're still growing, remember? You don't want to stop growing tall. Stop going nuts over your body. Open up your mind. I've been trying to think outside myself, and it has made me a tad wiser. You find people around you that you really appreciate and that you appreciate yourself the most.

All the best!
Reply:lol.

Your gonna dieeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee.

:D.
Reply:Don't eat
Reply:first of all do not listen to some of these a**holes. 300 calories is way too little to have every day. i do not know how old you are, but you should consume more calories than 300 definitely. go to mypyramid.gov. enter your actual weight, age and height and you will see how much you need. i think you should also go to group discussions somewhere, maybe online, and talk to people who have stupid parents like yours. and you do need to talk to them calmly. hopefully they will see how much mature you are and that they are being immature and are endagering your physical and mental wellbeing. it is god that you know you have a problem too. i hope you get better.
Reply:Your metabolism is slowing down way too much. You have to (slowly) build that back up. Crash dieting is not the way to do this, especially not so young when your body is still developing and needs those calories more than ever!

I understand that its hard for you to listen to those comments from your family. I highly suggest getting some professional help - if you cant talk to your dad (or anyone else), try mentioning it to your doctor or school counselor. You need to get your caloric-intake back on track by eating right and exercise.

Good luck
