ok there is this guy named Tommy i thought he liked me so i started liking him so my friend told him i liked him and he said he hated me. And now there is this guy named Alex and how can I tell if he likes me we are always looking at each other and since the 5th grade we picked on each other and now i like him more than i like chris brown and i dont want to take the chance in asking him out And him saying he hates me. Winter Ball is coming up on the 19th and i want to ask him to go with me but... i dont want him to hate me. PLEASE HELP I NEED ANSWERS BY DECEMBER 19TH!!!!!!!

Reply:Sounds like the first guy was a real jerk. Everyone faces rejection at some point. Remember that young guys are very immature and don't always react the way that young ladies expect. Take on a carefree attitude and ask the other guy out - except this time be prepared for either answer. If he says no, tell him that its his loss and go with some friends instead. Have a great time whether you have a guy or not. You are a great, attractive person and don't let anyone make you feel otherwise.

Reply:Do something where he can't help but ask you out. Do something nice for him that doesn't seem too weird. Or strike up a conversation with him about the Winter Ball but, in a subtle way, let him know you don't have a date. Then keep talking to him for a few minutes and give him a chance to ask you out if he wants to. If he doesn't, you've still saved face with him. Work on him for a while, and if you don't go to Winter Ball with him, maybe you'll end up going to prom together which is even better.
