Why am I not Losing weight ?

Ok here's the deal. I'm 5ft 4in weight 180. Have chub on my face, stomach, chest. Been trying to get back down to my old High School weight of 130-140. I'm a kickboxer and swimmer during the summer and a snowboarder/kickboxer during the winter. I Kickbox for an average of 2 hours everyday and walk to Work/School (saves gas and keeps my legs fit). I tend to have a sweet tooth (I'll eat a random candy bar while i'm in class) but I eat healthy regularly. (I eat three meals a day with two snack periods. Meals are of medium portion along with snacks being veggies.) I do splurg at least once a week at lunch with my class mates (Chipotle / Red Robin). This has been an ongoing problem. Don't have diabetes and no history of heart disease or slow metabolism in the family. Can anyone help me out here?

the activities you do are excellent forms of cardiovascular excersize, however i noticed you like to eat a candy bar here and there, and go to chipotle and red robin, mind you chipotle has almost 2000 calories in one burrito, and 3500 calories = 1 lb of fat, so keep that in mind, your excersize habit seems a lot more intense than my cousin's (mma fighter) and he's in excellent shape, keep in mind your diet is everything, so watch what you eat and watch your PORTIONS, don't drink sweets just water.
Reply:eat less caloriz then you burn
Reply:If you aren't losing weight there is usually no other reason than you aren't burning more calories than you take in. You better keep a closer eye on all these snacks and splurges that you mention. You aren't a very big guy and your body doesn't need a ton of calories to function. I'm not gonna call you a liar but if you were really doing 2 hours of kickboxing and walking 8 miles to work and school (uphill both ways) and also eating relatively healthy you would definitely be losing weight. So if you were one of my clients I would tell you to bring a little notebook everywhere you go and keep track of how many calories you eat at every meal. If you eat out and can't find out right away look it up online. You probably only need ~1800 cals a day and with candy bars and chipotle that can be gone fast. My advice: tighten up your diet, keep track of what you eat. and watch the pounds leave. 2-3 lbs a week is very possible and you could be down where you wanna be in no time. Good luck!
