Scared to gain weight?

I had weight "issues" for about 5 years now. There was about two years that I had a major eating disorder. I was 5'8,85 pounds, and I am a wide set person. It was bad. I gained weight back since I needed to. In about a years times I was 150 pounds, which has always been my normal weight. I know I’ve never been heavy, but still rather not be that weight.. After I gained the weight back, I decided that I wanted to be more fit. So I started working out like crazy. I now run about 7 to 8 miles about 5 times a wk and do the elliptical about 6 times a wk. I am 125 pounds now, and have low body fat. I eat a lot more then I use to, I snack a lot ( I am a veggie/veganish) and eat a bit of sweets every day. My husband tells me I still don't eat enough. Now that it's winter I am scared since I feel I've been eating too much, and can't go running as much as I want becuz of weather that I will gain weight back, even though my hubby thinks I am just getting skinnier. HELP!

You need to see a doctor and a nutritionist and a counselor. You may be under weight, working out too much for how little you eat and probably aren't eating appropriately for a veg. And you have a preoccupation with your weight and don't seem very happy.

7-8miles 5 times a week?? that adds up to like 40 miles per week.. don't you think you're putting a bit of stress on your joints and muscles? Maybe you should try to cut your miles down to maybe 5-6miles.. when you run too much, the disk that goes between your leg bones will be used up and that'll cause joint problems..


About how many calories do you eat per day? Since you're working out so much, you should try to get at least 1800-2000cals per day.


um.. do you have a gym membership to a place like the YMCA? If you do, you can always use the treadmill available there.. if not, invest in one =]





Just eat properly and with exercise, you should be able to maintain =]
