What do you think?

We must live through the dreary winter

If we would value the spring;

And the woods must be cold and silent

Before the robins sing.

The flowers must be buried in darkness

Before they can bud and bloom,

And the sweetest, warmest sunshine

Comes after the storm and gloom.

What do you think is a life message from this poem?

Do you know the meaning of this poem?

What do you think?
Life message: For anything in this life to be good, we must all go through hard times to appreciate the good times. If life were all rosey and cheery and spring time all year round, we wouldn't know it was good, and it would simply be mundane and plain and boring. But when we go through a hard time, a wintery time in our life, when we finally come out, we appreciate the smallest joys of spring.
Reply:For achieving happiness, and appreciate life we must also experience, and deal with the struggles of life.
Reply:Pain is inevitable.

Suffering is optional.
Reply:Accepting life defines accepting death, death means darkness,calamity,tests,and even death itself.Apparently, these are the things an individual undergoes in life which makes him emotionally and mentally strong but most importantly makes and molded him as a human.True happiness resides behind life's tormoils, it depends to a person's prerogative if he will take risk to face and successfully surpass it and feel the worth of life, than suffering from the regret for not doing it or worst not even trying. The message that this poem wants to convey is that sucess and triumph in life is sweeter when you have tasted the sourness of sorrow and sacrifice..........................johnn...
Reply:In order to appreciate or even notice one "thing", you must see the other side.........how do you know youre happy, if you have never been sad.......how great does pride feel, but only if you have felt shame......
