I need a 16th birthday party theme!?

My birthday is in the winter, so most outside ideas aren't really an option, and skiiing/snowboarding is too expensive; I don't want to spend a lot of money. The guest list is pretty small as well, so obviously I'm not going to rent out a large place either. I want it to be relatively low-maintenance - nothing along the lines of "My Super Sweet 16." Thank you!

Reply:what if you jsut have some friends over and go skating?? have a cozy birthday with hot chocolates, moives and just fun! Happy Birthday!
Reply:Themes— hawaii luau, muder myster party (these are reallllly fun!), or an eighties theme.

Have fun!
Reply:Dress up and go out for a nice dinner together and then maybe to a movie. Birthday parties are about being with friends not about showing off--I'm glad you aren't making a huge deal out of what (I hope) will be one of many more celebrations in your life.

It can be fun to go somewhere new and a little nicer than you are used to (but not so far out of your comfort zone that you can't be yourselves). It can also be great to go somewhere you really like to introduce your friends to it--maybe an ethnic restaurant you like or a place your family enjoys for celebrations.

Have a great birthday--and many more...
Reply:Las Vegas is such an awsome theme. have people wear flashy cocktail outfits. buy a whole lot of cards. poker chips, and other games.. it would be like game night, las vegas style! theme colors would be red, white and black. you can wear a pinstriped suit-ish outfit and a snazzy fur coat. :))
