Need Advice, please...=)?

There is this guy that i like and i have danced with him at every dance this year. the first time it was short and sweet, even though we were freaking, and the second time we danced for like more than a half hour! we never kissed though. i think he likes/liked me. i couldnt get the guts to show affection after so i think hes thinks im not interested...but i am. hes kinda shy but...winter formal is coming up and i wanna hook up with him and hopefully create a relationship. any realistic ideas ...cuz he might think "i shouldnt dance w/ her again, cuz shes not interested." i want to show him that i am without being to agressive. any advice helps! THANKS! also, hes not the most popular guy, but I Like Him! also.i dont really talk to him EVER.we had a class together and the occasional eye lock.so it would be hard to just talk to him. neither of us have asked the othr to dance.he kinda just puts his hands on my hips, coms close,etc.but i make sure he notces me dancin wen he comes come close

Can you ask him to go to the dance with you? That would be the best way... but if you can't, I would at least suggest talking to him before the dance, asking him if he's going and tell him that you liked dancing with him at the last dance! What have you got to lose? It definitely sounds like he likes you... and don't let your friend's opinion influence yours too much - maybe she is envious or just has different taste in men than you do or maybe she actually likes him too... But don't let any of that get in your way! Go for it! And have fun at the dance...
