So it is winter here and well as you know i do not have a fresh supply of grass lol, i was wondering if i could feed my guinea pig the Chia cat grass, it says that it is a mixture of sweet oat and wheat grass, which isnt cat nip correct? also it says that dogs and birds like it as well so would it be safe to feed my guinea pigs?

Thanks For Your Help!
This is sort of an odd question, can i feed the "Chia Cat Grass" to my guinea pig:S?
Yes, it is completely safe to feed your guinea pig this grass. I cultivate a patch of wheat grass for my guinea pigs and they love it. Also, the information states it is chemical and pesticide free, which is very important. See link below that states that wheat grass is safe.
Reply:It's not a very healthy alternative. G pigs need timothy hay year round to keep them regular and to keep their teeth from growing out so much.
Grass will give your piggie the runs and I say don't do it!
Reply:so let your cat try it
Reply:no
