A little confused?

There's this guy who I really like and he likes me too. We flirted a lot before winter break and went places together sometimes. He got me a box of chocolates for Christmas, which was really sweet. He said he wanted to hang out over break and so I called him a few days before Christmas to ask when he was free. He said he wasn't feeling too good and that he thinks he will pass. I was hoping he would call within the next week, but he hasn't and I don't want to call because he might think I'm desperate.





Is he trying to tell me something? Or am I overreacting? And should I call him or just wait?

He'll only think you're desperate if you yourself think you're desperate. I don't get the impression that you are desperate from what you wrote.





I say give him a call AS A FRIEND. You never know, he may not be communicating because of some problem(s) that have nothing to do with you. If you are generally concerned about his well-being, that will come across in a friendly call just to see how's he doing.





Who knows? Maybe HE's been waiting for YOU to call!





The best and longest-lasting relationships that I have seen all began on the solid ground of friendship. I think you both might be pleasantly surprised at the outcome of your call.

O.k, He may have really not have been feeling good. So you just have to belive him. Dont call him to see if he wants to go out, call him to see hows hes doing.





Same thing happened to me last night. She said she wanted to hang out over break, and then when I tried to set it up, she said her back hurt and wasnt able to.





Is she being for real? I dont know...I figure for both of us, If they wanna so something, they'll let us know.





You can text/call him whenever, doesnt mean it has to be about going somewhere, call him to see how hes feeling.





Trust me your not overreacting, just wait and see what he says. It might be hard, but take it slow.
